Hi! Good question! Well, I think getting in the habit of exercising every day is great, but don't necessarily have to do it EVERY day. If you can...great...but if not just do at least 4 days a week. Anything less than that will just keep you in the maintenance mode and to loose weight you need to take it up a notch. Weight loss is all about calories in vs. calories out. If you can workout an hour 5-6 days a week, you will be burning more calories and thus have a better chance of melting off the lbs!

If you don't have an hour to devote every day, don't panic. You can alternate some hour long workouts each week that are at moderate intensity. Then, mix in a few days with 30-45min workouts that are intervals of high intensity. Mix in high intensity runs (hills or sprints), jumprope or other cardio along with some weight training and abs at the end. Make it a challenge and make sure to break a sweat.

Consistency is key and also you need to make it fun. If you are walking on the treadmill an hour 7 days a week, you may loose weight buy you will be bored and not want to stick with it. Think of fitness as a way of life and make it fun. Try new activities and as long as you are sweating and working hard, it will pay off!
